Finally playing through Gex on 3DO (it just feels better than the other ports) and quickly learned about the post-boss save "bug" :( Also, New Toonland feels like real downgrade after Cemetery.
32X, CD-i, and Jaguar cores on Pocket make sense; N64, PlayStation, and Virtual Boy less so just because of the controllers - unless you're playing through a dock or sticking to specific games. Ultimate DOOM Resurrection works great on the 32X core, by the way :) Tangentially, Jotego's stuff still feels chaotic but I'm grateful for it nevertheless.
I'd been keeping an eye out for a wireless keyboard+touchpad combo, and found a Kano keyboard for $6 at a thrift store. Also bought a Pioneer Elite VSX-01TXH for $25 at the same thrift store - no remote, 1080p-only, and doesn't support the latest audio formats, but it's still a really nice receiver for the vast majority of audio sources and plenty of video sources.
My 3070 was running kind of hot, but staying within spec; not sure if it was related, but I started seeing minor visual artifacts in at least one game - so I re-pasted it and it's still kind of hot, but it seem to be handling things better and isn't throttling. I maxed-out the intake and exhaust fans on my case and there no real change, so I guess the MSI Ventus 2X HSF is only just 'good enough' :/
